Bay Area Conservatives Set To Gather In Mill Valley, CA; Marin County Lib Wants Event Shut Down

I saw my friend Bookroom Worm mentioned recently that there's going to be a big event for Bay Area conservatives in my former stomping grounds of Marin County next weekend, March 7...and of all places...ultra liberal Mill Valley, 94941.

If you're in the Bay Area and need more information, here's the website for Bay Area Patriots, who is hosting the event.

It appears that some of the so-called "tolerant" liberals in Mill Valley who always like accusing conservatives of being "fascists" are now employing those tactics they accuse the right of.

Melanie Morgan posts a report from the Mill Valley Herald about one Mill Valley liberal who wants the city to shut down the event. This person is also (surprise!) a retired reporter for the Associated with Obama Press.

It¹s an irony that doesn¹t sit well with local resident Deborah Phelan, a former AP reporter who now works in public relations.

Infuriated by the images and rhetoric employed by Tea Party groups across the nation, Phelan said city property should not play host to a right-wing get-together.

"We have young kids going there to swim, to go to classes, Phelan said. Do you want your kid to walk by a picture of the president of the U.S. with the horrible things they say about him?"

Phelan has appealed to city officials to cancel the event, but that appears unlikely. Parks and Recreation Director Christine Sansom said the Community Center can¹t discriminate against groups who want to rent the center based on politics. "We can¹t say, We don¹t like what you¹re organization does,¹" Sansom said. "We don¹t evaluate who¹s going to use our facilities."

Zelikovsky said fears like those voiced by Phelan are based on misconceptions. ³This is a very tame crowd of people,² she said.

³These are people who are your neighbors and fellow church-goers ‹ they go to school with your kids. I haven¹t had one incidence of violence at one of our protests, nor property damage afterward.²

Nor will radical, inflammatory images be condoned, Zelikovsky said, adding that only once in all the gatherings she has organized did somebody show up with a sign connecting fascist images to the current administration. ³We asked that person to leave,² she said. ³In our group I haven¹t met anybody who shares those kinds of views.²

Phelan nonetheless says she¹ll keep seeking ways to stop the gathering from taking place in Mill Valley. ³I feel our local government has to make a stand against this movement, which I view as seditious,² she said.

And I thought liberals said "dissent was the highest form of patriotism." Oh, excuse me, that's when George W. Bush was President.

So conservatism in Mill Valley in offensive and seditious, because it disagrees with the socialism being pushed by The One (TM)? What about the attitudes of so-called "anti-war" liberals during the Mill Valley Memorial Day Parade, who showed how they are really anti-military, anti-American and anti-Israel?

According to the May 28, 2005 Marin IJ, parade organizers asked for an apology and instead received a letter saying "we are sorry" followed by "a diatribe about Palestine and that Israel was the aggressor."

I guess none of that offends former lapdog media reporter Deborah Phelan.

TSUNAMI ADVISORY: California, West Coast & Hawaii Also Warned

As a result of the tragic 8.8 magnitude earthquake in Chile, the West Coast (including California) is facing the threat of a tsunami (KSFO).

The West Coast/Alaska Tsunami Warning Center has issued a tsunami advisory for the entire California coast from Mexico to Oregon, because of the tsunami generated by a massive 8.8 magnitude earthquake in Chile. The National Weather Service in San Diego says says dangerous currents and surges are possible in harbors and bays, starting around noon. The NWS is urging residents to stay out of the water, off the beach and away from harbors and marinas, warning that the first tidal wave may not be the biggest and subsequent waves may be larger. Even so, no widespread coastal flooding is expected.

To our friends in California, take care of yourselves and be prepared.

Delusional Pelosi Still Thinks She Runs "Most Ethical Congress"

According to The Hill:

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) on Friday said that she is running the most ethical Congress in history.

Asked at a press conference about her promise to run the most ethical Congress in the wake of new findings that Rep. Charles Rangel (D-N.Y.) broke House rules, Pelosi interjected, "We are."

But Pelosi dodged on whether she would discipline Rangel, who helms the powerful Ways and Means Committee.

After Democrats reclaimed the majority in the House of Representatives in 2006, Pelosi, who at the time was poised to become speaker, said "the Democrats intend to lead the most honest, most open and most ethical Congress in history."

Don't forget "Cold Cash" William Jefferson also. Jackoff Murtha's corruption was coming into light before he crossed the river Styx. There was also all the backroom deals to pass Obamacare, as well as Nancy's fancy for using the US Air Force as her own private airline.

Is this woman delusional or just downright crazy? It's hard to tell.

What Obamacare Summit Showed: Real Ideas vs. Obama's & Democrat Arrogance

No wonder cartoonists have to lampoon That One, especially after his performance today at the phony baloney "bipartisan" Obamacare summit.

Regardless of today, the Democrats and Obama are showing they really don't give a damn about what the American people, in town halls, polls, etc have said about this bill. The message is "screw you! We're going to ram it down your throats anyway." I believe they will do anything they can to do that. They've proven so much over this whole debate.

The only thing this summit did was show who the adults were, and put an end to the lie that Republicans have no ideas. They showed today they did. However, Obama, Pelosi and Reid are more concerned about getting more power over Americans, as well as paying off their twin constituencies--the trial lawyers and the unions--than they are about making health care more affordable.

Sphincter & Clinton: Partisan Debate In Congress Hurts America's Standing In The World

As if we didn't hear enough of the "We Are The World" mantra from liberals during the Bush Administration, who claimed he was hurting our standing in the world by...well, doing his Constitutional duty in protecting America from future terror attacks.

Now get this! CNSNews.com reports that Sen. Arlen Sphincter and Secretary of Hate Hillary Rotten Clinton claim the partisan wrangling in Congress is hurting our standing in the world.

Senator Arlen Specter (D-Pa.) and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton both said that partisan debate in Congress has hamstrung President Barack Obama’s foreign policy efforts, and weakened America abroad.

Speaking before the Senate Appropriations Committee’s Foreign Operations and Related Programs Subcommittee on Wednesday, Specter lamented that partisan debates and squabbles were keeping Obama from reaching his foreign policy potential.

“I have been concerned about the gridlock in Congress for many reasons,” said Specter. “It has had an impact on our stature internationally. The president came on with a great promise and, I think, did materially change the world’s view of the United States for a number of reasons.”

Specter continued, “I think not only has President Obama been diminished but so has the presidency and, for that matter, so has the ability of governance by the Congress of the United States.”

...Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, appearing before the subcommittee, agreed with Specter, saying that she too thought that Obama’s nominations should not be held up in the Senate confirmation process.

“[U]nfortunately, I have to agree with you,” she said. “The gridlock over nominations is particularly troubling. We’re now more than a year into a new administration and whether you agree or disagree with a particular policy, a president deserves to have the people that he nominates serving him."

Let me remind Hypocrite Hillary, her thighness, of what she said almost seven years ago, in her best Joan "NO WIRE HANGGEEEERRS!!!!!!!" Crawford impersonation.

I'm sick and tired of people who say that if you debate and disagree with this administration, somehow you're not patriotic. We need to stand up and say we're Americans, and we have the right to debate and disagree with any administration.

Except for the Administration of "The One (TM)," when Congress and the rest of us are supposed to sit down, shut up and not utter one peep of dissent.

Democrats Again Side With Protecting The Terrorists

Gay Patriot links to the great Andy McCarthy, who points out some disturbing language added by Democrats into an intelligence bill.

The proposal says the conduct reached by the statute “includes but is not limited to” the itemized conduct. (My italics.) That means any interrogation tactic that a prosecutor subjectively believes is “degrading” (e.g., subjecting a Muslim detainee to interrogation by a female CIA officer) could be the basis for indicting a CIA interrogator.

...Waterboarding is not all. The Democrats’ bill would prohibit — with a penalty of 15 years’ imprisonment — the following tactics, among others:

- “Exploiting the phobias of the individual”
- Stress positions and the threatened use of force to maintain stress positions
- “Depriving the individual of necessary food, water, sleep, or medical care”
- Forced nudity
- Using military working dogs (i.e., any use of them — not having them attack or menace the individual; just the mere presence of the dog if it might unnerve the detainee and, of course, “exploit his phobias”)
- Coercing the individual to blaspheme or violate his religious beliefs (I wonder if Democrats understand the breadth of seemingly innocuous matters that jihadists take to be violations of their religious beliefs)
- Exposure to “excessive” cold, heat or “cramped confinement” (excessive and cramped are not defined)
- “Prolonged isolation”
- “Placing hoods or sacks over the head of the individual”

Naturally, all of these tactics are interspersed with such acts as forcing the performance of sexual acts, beatings, electric shock, burns, inducing hypothermia or heat injury — as if all these acts were functionally equivalent.

...Here is the fact: Democrats are saying they would prefer to see tens of thousands of Americans die than to see a KSM subjected to sleep-deprivation or to have his “phobias exploited.” I doubt that this reflects the values of most Americans.

The Party of Treason shows once again how they're on the side of the terrorists, instead of upholding their oaths of office.

Obamacare Political Theater Happens Today

Will "That One" get checkmated by the GOP, or will he just get media clips his lapdogs will play over and over with that orgasmic tone in their voices.

Outside will be interesting, as Americans for Prosperity is planning events in DC this morning to coincide with the political theater over the Obamacare bill, which was once again written behind closed doors.

Despite an overwhelming opposition from the American public, Obama continues to talk his way into your doctor’s office by pushing a trillion dollar health care plan through Congress.

You’ve called your Senator. You’ve signed petitions. You’ve talked to your friends about the dangers of a government takeover of health care. Yet Obama STILL pushes his radical agenda against the will of the people. Such arrogance cannot be tolerated from a government that is given its power by the people it represents.

It's not surprising this has come up again. So many people are saying that Pelosi doesn't have the votes. How many times have we heard this before, and then some deal is made to win over a dissenting Democrat?

Dick Morris was on The Loofah Factor last night, telling O'Reilly (who is in a serious case of denial that Obama is a socialist) that he projects this bill will cost $6 trillion, and that opponents of Obamacare should call Congressmen he has on his website who might tip the scales and kill this pathetic bill.

I don't think the Democrat Congress really cares about what the people want. They've had electoral losses in Virginia, New Jersey and most recently, the Senate seat held by Ted Kennedy in Massachusetts. Has that stopped them? No! They're still going ahead with this proposal which is opposed by an overwhelming majority of Americans.

They may not have the votes, or may act like they don't, but I believe they will do anything to pass this bill, especially before November. I think they will pass it, and it will be up to a new Congress to repeal all or part of it.

Three Toyota Suppliers Raided By FBI

The FBI is confirming raids at the offices of three Michigan auto suppliers who do work for Toyota.

Search warrants were served Tuesday evening at Yazaki North America, DENSO International and Tokai Rika. Yazaki sells electronic components and DENSO makes accelerator pedals.

Law enforcement sources say the raids are part of an ongoing anti-trust investigation of the companies. They say this is not a criminal investigation and not related to the current acceleration problems. Department of Justice spokesperson Gina Talamona said, "The Antitrust Division is investigating the possibility of anti-competitive cartel conduct of automotive electronic components suppliers. We are coordinating with the European Commission and other foreign competition authorities."

They say it's not related to the Congressional investigations and recalls over the acceleration issues, but this has a funny smell to it. For one, Toyota is non-union, as compared to the domestic auto makers. Add to that how the US Government is now running two auto companies (GM & Chrysler/Dodge) and you wonder why we're hearing about anti-trust with Toyota related companies, especially with the accelerator problems they're going through.

Gov. Bob McDonnell's Disappointing Move

No, not on anything he's doing as the new Governor of Virginia (so far, he's doing a pretty damn good job).

But unfortunately, according to the Washington ComPost, he's going to endorse the re-election of Sen. John McLame for Seante in Arizona.

Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell (R) will endorse Arizona Sen. John McCain in his GOP primary battle with former congressman J.D. Hayworth, advisers to the governor say.

McCain asked McDonnell for his backing after having campaigned for the Virginian last year. The 2008 presidential nominee, who is being portrayed by some critics as too moderate, undoubtedly hopes McDonnell can help him in conservative circles.

I guess that's the price you pay when McLame campaigns for you: the chits get called in for return. I understand the reason Sarah Palin is campaigning for him (though I don't agree with her on this one, yet I'm not going to throw her under the bus like some comments I've seen).

John McLame is not and never will be a conservative. In fact, he is part of the problem that has hurt the Republican Party. Plus, if you want to thank anyone for Barack Hussein Obama's Presidency, thank McLame, who saidabout That One: "oh, he'd make a fine President."

Are you eating crow yet John? Like you are about TARP?

If I were in Arizona (and I have friends there) I would vote for and strongly urge others to vote for J.D. Hayworth. He's a real conservative and has the record to back it up, especially when it comes to immigration.

It's time John McLame get sent home to live off Cindy's beer money, and a real conservative takes his place.

Former Civil Rights Group Known As The NAACP To Honor 911 Troofer

More proof that the NAACP doesn't care about all black people, but instead about advancing a radical, Left-wing agenda (Mediaite).

In a controversial move, the NAACP announced today that it would be awarding one their top honors to Van Jones, the former White House Special Advisor for Green Jobs who resigned last fall under a cloud of controversy. Jones’ history with extremist groups and the website 911Truth.org created a vocal conservative movement that ultimately cost him his position under Barack Obama, despite his work in creating the Green Jobs act in 2007 and declaring himself to be the victim of “a vicious smear campaign.” The NAACP says ex-Green czar deserves the award and “may be the most misunderstood man in America.

What's surprising about the NAACP? They also defended the phony rape victim in the Duke Lacrosse case, as well as the dog fighter Michael Vick.


There should be a drinking game based on the amount of times the word "RAAAAACISM" is used at this "awards" ceremony.

Did The Obama White House Commit A Crime (Bribery)?

The following story appeared in the Associated with Obama Press last Friday (Penn Live).

U.S. Rep. Joe Sestak says the White House offered him a federal job in an effort to persuade him not to mount a Democratic primary challenge against Sen. Arlen Sphincter of Pennsylvania.

During a taping Thursday of the Comcast Network’s “Larry Kane: Voice of Reason” show, he said he was offered a high-ranking job but turned it down. His spokesman, Jonathon Dworkin, said Friday that Sestak stands by his comments. Questioned after a stop at senior citizen center in Pittsburgh, Sestak said there was nothing to be gained by providing further details. “I’m in the race, that’s all that matters,” he said.

The White House told The Associated Press that it had no immediate comment.

Jeffrey Lord at American Spectator asks if a crime has been committed by the Obama White House.

The discovery that the White House has now been reported on two separate occasions in two different states to be deliberately committing a potential violation of federal law -- in order to preserve the Democrats' Senate majority -- could prove explosive in this highly political year. The 60-seat majority slipped to 59 seats with the death of Senator Edward Kennedy, a Democrat, and the election of Republican Senator Scott Brown. Many political analysts are suggesting Democrats could lose enough seats to lose their majority altogether.

This is the stuff of congressional investigations and cable news alerts, as an array of questions will inevitably start being asked of the Obama White House.

Here are but a few lines of inquiry, some inevitably straight out of Watergate.

* Who in the White House had this conversation with Congressman Sestak?

* Did Deputy Chief of Staff Messina have the same conversation with Sestak he is alleged to have had with Romanoff -- and has he or anyone else on the White House staff had similar conversations with other candidates that promise federal jobs for political favors?

* They keep logs of these calls. How quickly will they be produced?

* How quickly would e-mails between the White House, Sestak, Specter, Romanoff and Bennet be produced?

* Secretary of the Navy is an important job. Did this job offer or the reported offer of the US AID position to Romanoff have the approval of President Obama or Vice President Biden?

* What did the President know and when did he know it?

* What did the Vice President know and when did he know it? (Note: Vice President Biden, in this tale, is Specter's longtime friend who takes credit for luring Specter to switch parties. Can it really be that an offer of Secretary of the Navy to get Sestak out of Specter's race would not be known and or approved by the Vice President? Does Messina or some other White House staffer -- like Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel -- have that authority?)

* What did White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel know, and when did he know it?

* What did Congressman Sestak know and when did he know it? Was he aware that the offer of a federal job in return for a political favor -- his withdrawal from the Senate race -- could open the White House to a criminal investigation?

* What did Senator Specter know about any of this and when did he know it?

* What did Governor Rendell, who, as the titular leader of Pennsylvania Democrats, is throwing his political weight and machine to his old friend Specter, know about this? And when did he know it?

* Will the Department of Justice be looking into these two separate news stories, one supplied by a sitting United States Congressman, that paint a clear picture of jobs for political favors?

* Will Attorney General Holder recuse himself from such an investigation?

Obama Wants Fed Gov't To Block Health Insurance Rate Increases

Is there no doubt that Obama wants to put private health insurers out of business now? (New York Slimes).

President Obama will propose on Monday giving the federal government new power to block excessive rate increases by health insurance companies, as he rolls out comprehensive legislation to revamp the nation’s health care system, White House officials said.

The president’s legislation aims to bridge differences between the bills adopted by the House and Senate late last year, and to frame his debate with Republicans over health policy at a televised “summit” meeting on Thursday.

By focusing on the effort to tighten regulation of insurance costs, a new element not included in either the House or Senate bills, Mr. Obama is seizing on outrage over recent premium increases of up to 39 percent announced by Anthem Blue Cross of California and moving to portray the Democrats’ health overhaul as a way to protect Americans from predatory insurers.

Congressional Republicans have long denounced the Democrats’ legislation as a “government takeover” of health care. And while they will likely resist any expansion of federal authority over existing state regulators, they will face a tough balancing act at the meeting with the president to avoid appearing as if they are willing to allow steep premium hikes like those by Anthem.

First, it was two auto companies. Then, it was dictating CEO pay. Now, it's demanding the final say over whether or not an insurer can raise rates so it can stay in business and insure their clients?

Can you say, "dictatorship?"

Anti-War Activist & Friend of Hugo Chavez Sean Penn Charged With Assualt

Actor-director Sean Penn was charged Friday with battery and vandalism charges stemming from an altercation with a photographer in Brentwood last fall. He will be arraigned March 22 on the two misdemeanor charges.

Penn will not be required to appear in court if he is represented by an attorney. Los Angeles City Attorney Frank Mateljan said Penn kicked a photographer during a dust-up in October. The photographer’s camera also was damaged. The incident was captured on a video posted by the celebrity Web site TMZ.com in which Penn is seen kicking at a photographer and repeatedly telling the photographer to “get out.” If convicted, Penn could face up to 18 months in jail.

I guess that enriches Sean Penn's reputation as a Peace Thug.

God Forbid The Conservative Movement & GOP Gets Co-Opted By Ron Paul

Unlike the last two years I've lived here in the DC area, I didn't attend CPAC this year.

Though I like a lot of his work, especially in exposing Van Jones, I'm just not a big of a Glenn Beck fan as I am of Rush Limbaugh (who spoke last year), Sean Hannity or Mark Levin. Don't get me wrong, Glenn does some great work, but sometimes, he has those WTF moments that make me wonder if a 12 step call might be necessary.

Of course, I'd love to hear Ann Coulter speak in person again, tweaking liberals as only she does. And it would have been worth the price of admission to have seen the great Andrew Breitbart make mincemeat out of that glue-sniffer named Max Blumenthal.

If I would have had yesterday off from my day job, I'd have made it a point to go and attend Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer's presentation: Jiahd, The Political Third Rail, a subject hardly broached by CPAC.

What made me leery of CPAC this year was the inclusion of the John Birch Society as one of their many co-sponsors. While much was made of the homosexual group GOProud's status as a co-sponsor (and I don't agree with all their positions, especially the pro-same sex marriage), that seemed to take up all the heat which should have been directed towards the Birchers, a bunch of kooks with a lot of rhetoric that sounds similar to the moonbat far-Left (anti-war, isolationism).

Then, there was the disturbing news that the equally kooky Ron Paul won the straw poll for 2012 nominees, an honor usually reserved for Mitt Romney. Granted, I think while Ron Paul is right when it comes to economic issues, he is off the wall and kooky when it comes to foreign policy. He's implied that our Middle East policies led to 9/11, that Israel created Hamas and the US created bin Laden. No wonder I saw so many Ron Paul for President paraphernalia around Marin County, CA in 2007.

The group of Paulestianians known as the Campaign for Liberty even had this discussion at CPAC today.

The speakers noted above are a couple of anti-war, Lew Rockwell (another kook) zombies. Great! Why don't we have International ANSWER types make presentations at CPAC 2011? Both Kwiatkowski and Hornblower, along with Paul and Rockwell, are more of the Libertarian fringe, something that is hardly resembling conservatism.

Conservatism is on an ascendancy and we don't need extremists like Ron Paul and the Birchers defining us, thus tarnishing the work we are doing in bringing America back to its founding principles.

ABC Joins The Lapdog Media's "Smear The Tea Party" Campaign Regarding Joe Stack, Austin Suicide Pilot. Austin Tea Party Statements Ignored By Lapdogs

As mentioned here Thursday, the Washington ComPost, TIME Magazine, CNN, various left-wing blogs have been involved in another case of media manipulation--that is, removing certain elements of Andrew Joseph Stack's suicide letter/manifesto after he crashed his airplane into a north Austin office building which housed an IRS office.

ABC News joined the fray, citing no sources except the notorious Chicken Little named Mark Potok of the left-wing Southern Poverty Law Center, allgeging that the "Patriot Movement" is calling Stack a hero.

The Web was studded with praise for Stack almost immediately after his plane slammed into the Austin office complex Thursday morning. The admiring salutes appearing on sites ranging from Facebook to the pages of extremist groups reflect what experts say is an "explosive growth" in the anti-government patriot movement.
"Extremist groups are already aligning behind [Joe Stack], beginning to talk about him as a hero," said Mark Potok, director of the Southern Poverty Law Center which studies American militia and hate groups. "The growth of those groups has been astounding."

Stack's suicide note, an angry rant against the IRS and the government which was posted online the morning of his death, got around 20 million hits before it was taken down at the request of the FBI, according to Alex Melen, president and founder of T35, the network service provider for the Web site where the note was posted.

Melen, 25, said within minutes of taking the note down, the company was "bombarded" with around 3,000 e-mails demanding Stack's words be reposted. Some of the e-mails contained personal threats against Melen.

Potok and his organization are notorious for smearing anyone who disagrees with liberals, their policies, and Barack Hussein Obama as a "racist." They were instrumental in helping Janet Napolatano's Department of Homeland Security write the "Right Wingers are racists and terrorists" report, which was coincidentally issued just before the April 15th Tea Party demonstrations last year. He has also accused our military of being full of racists, as well as the American Legion.

If ABC was interested in doing journalism, instead of being a propaganda outfit for Obama and the far-Left, they'd have considered contacting members of the Austin Tea Party.

Lady Libertas at RedState has spoken with organizers of the Austin Tea Party, the Waco Tea Party, and a 912 Group in the area. All have confirmed Andrew Joseph Stack was not a member of the Tea Party Movement, contrary to lapdog media reports.

Heather Littenger of the Austin Tea Party said:

“I can say with affirmation that Joseph Stack was not a member of the Austin Tea Party nor was he a member of The Tea Party Movement. Within Mr. Stack’s own writing, one can see clearly that are no shared values or principles with the Tea Party.

After reading Mr. Stack’s February 18, 2010 statement, it is evident he supported anarchy. The Tea Party movement does not advocate anarchy. The Tea Party movement believes in our founding principles so eloquently written in our Constitution.

Mr. Stack repeatedly showed disdain for free-market principles in his statement. The Tea Party movement knows that every American success is rooted in the freedom of our capitalist principles.

Mr. Stack did not believe in paying taxes. The Tea Party movement believes in taxes for the defense of Our Great Nation; however like the majority of Americans – be they Democrat, Republican or Independent – we all believe in reform of the current tax structure. We only differ on the type of reform that is best.

Mr. Stack saw churches as corrupt entities and called them “monsters of organized religion.” He spoke of being “brainwashed to believe that there is freedom” and declared “violence is the only answer.” The Tea Party movement believes in God, and we know the valuable contributions our churches make each day to our communities across this land.

Thousands of Tea Parties have been held nationwide, a million Tea Partiers marched in our nation’s capital, and not a single act of violence was ever committed by a Tea Party supporter.

Toby Marie Walker of the Waco Tea Party said:

“Those responsible for trying to drag the tea parties into this tragedy must be desperate. “Never let a good tragedy go to waste” is their mantra, and that is obvious here. At a time when decent Americans are shocked and praying for those affected, they were gleeful in creating misinformation to pin on a principled movement (in reference to Emily Walker who created the facebook account honoring Stark). She should be ashamed of herself.”

A poster at FreeRepublic also found this interesting post from a former band member of Stark's on DUh (Democrat Underground), which dispels the "Stark is a teabagger" claims, though the band member said Stark didn't like George W. Bush.

This supports the conclusions about Stack I've made. I don't think he operated on a political motive, though he did spout lines you'd expect from a liberal. I don't want to paint with a broad brush, but Austin is a predominantly liberal town (I was born there and moved back after college until my late 20s). I'd say a high number of the musicians (at least the one's I knew) have a liberal worldview, so I'm sure he believed a lot of that without really thinking about it, but just because everyone else said it. I mean, his former band mate is on DUh. What really did he have to complain about? He owned his own business, an airplane, a nice house in a good North Austin neighborhood. I guess it wasn't enough, and when he couldn't make it on his own, or screw others out of what they had for his own gain, he decided to play the victim card.

That said, I think Stack was a loser who played the typical "victim mentality" and spouted the liberal lines in his note because he thought he was a victim of a) capitalists, b) religion c) Bush d) IRS/Feds, and did not man up and take responsibility for his actions. You don't pay your taxes or cheat on them, chances are you'll probably get a visit from the IRS soon, and you'll have no one to blame but yourself.

In the process of ending his own pathetic loser life, Stack took the life of a Vietnam Vet, Vernon Hunter, who worked in the Echelon Building. Another man is in Brooke Army Medical Center being treated for burns.

No Wonder (In)Justice Dept Went After Bush Admin Attorneys: Nine Worked On Behalf Of Al-Queda Terrorists Before Joining Dept.

After an investigation into possible wrongdoing for coming up with interrogation methods for al-Queda terrorists, the Obama InJustice Department didn't press charges against Bush Administration attorneys, but only said they used "poor judgement" (Yahoo News).

While the Department went after Bush Administration officials for doing their jobs to protect America from another attack, Holder has revealed that nine attorneys worked on behalf of detained al-Queda before joining the department (Washington Examiner).

Attorney General Eric Holder says nine Obama appointees in the Justice Department have represented or advocated for terrorist detainees before joining the Justice Department. But he does not reveal any names beyond the two officials whose work has already been publicly reported. And all the lawyers, according to Holder, are eligible to work on general detainee matters, even if there are specific parts of some cases they cannot be involved in.

Holder's admission comes in the form of an answer to a question posed last November by Republican Sen. Charles Grassley. Noting that one Obama appointee, Principal Deputy Solicitor General Neal Katyal, formerly represented Osama bin Laden's driver, and another appointee, Jennifer Daskal, previously advocated for detainees at Human Rights Watch, Grassley asked Holder to give the Senate Judiciary Committee "the names of political appointees in your department who represent detainees or who work for organizations advocating on their behalf…the cases or projects that these appointees work with respect to detainee prior to joining the Justice Department…and the cases or projects relating to detainees that have worked on since joining the Justice Department."

...Holder says other Obama appointees, like Holder himself, came from law firms which represented detainees but did no work on behalf of the terrorist prisoners. But other than Katyal and Daskal, Holder does not reveal any names of any Obama appointees, nor does he mention the cases they worked on.

And what are they recused from, anyway? Very little. Holder writes that Katyal has not worked on any Guantanamo detainee matters but has participated in litigation involving detainees who continue to be detained at Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan and in litigation involving [Ali Saleh Kahlah] al-Marri, who was detained on U.S. soil." As for Daskal, "she has generally worked on policy issues related to detainees," Holder writes. "Her detainee-related work has been fully consistent with advice she received from career department officials regarding her obligations."

As for everyone else, Holder lists no names and no cases, but in a paragraph filled with modifiers, he makes it clear that all the lawyers who had advocated for detainees are free to work on general detainee matters.

...Bottom line: Holder revealed no names beyond the two already publicly known. He revealed no cases from which Justice political appointees recused themselves. The etter, which will likely be interpreted on Capitol Hill as a thumb-your-nose statement, is sure to anger Republican senators more than satisfy them.

Advocating for terrorists isn't new for Eric Holder. Under the Clinton Administration, Holder okayed the release of 16 FALN terrorists in 1999, as well as the pardon by Bill Clinton of Marc Rich.

Going after Bush lawyers who did their duty to protect this nation, yet protecting al-Queda and dropping charges against racist New Black Panther thugs for voter intimidation. Is it any wonder that, under Eric Holder, the Justice Department has become the InJustice Department?

The End of An Era: Lee Rodgers Gone From KSFO

If you're a conservative in the San Francisco Bay Area, you started your morning by turning on KSFO and listening to Lee Rodgers, Melanie Morgan, & Office Vic...even before you poured your first cup of coffee.

Almost two years after the Citidel Radio, the owners of KSFO, let go of Melanie, Lee ended the morning show the other day to find out it was his last show. Brian Sussman, who filled in on Mondays and had the evening show, will now take over as host in the morning, along with Officer Vic.

We sure had a wild ride, recalling a governor, enacting legislation banning cancer-causing chemicals (M.I.M. note: MTBE) forced on us by environmental whackos, excoriating the dopes in politics, and adopting a lot of puppies (with your help.) Lee also is VERY proud of the fact that he has pissed off Media Matters and other left-wing liberals. There were never enough hours in the day to bitch-slap those people, politcally speaking, of course.

I like to think we had a pretty good show. I like to think we might still make some chin wag together again. Who knows?

But I wish Brian Sussman and Officer Vic a lot of luck, and much success as KSFO radio continues into the future.

Before I get teary eyed (and I hate to cry!) I want to tip my cloche hat to Mr. Rodgers ...I'll miss him in my neighborhood.

Although I left the Bay Area over two years ago, I'd listen in via the internet occasionally to the KSFO morning show. Lee, Mel and OV were the ones responsible for me turning my car radio from music during my Novato to San Rafael commute to talk radio, and part of my political education and introduction to conservative activism.

So, best wishes to Brian Sussman, you have big shoes to fill. To Lee Rodgers, I say, thank you for the education you gave via KSFO weekday mornings, best wishes and Godspeed.

Obama Writing Obamacare Bill, Will Be Posted 3 Days Before Televised Politcal Theater With GOP, Reconciliation Vote Planned

Attention Republican leadership and any GOP members who are thinking of going to this sham political theater at the White House on Feb. 25. Here's more proof it is a sham (Fox News).

President Obama is working on health care legislation intended to reconcile differences between House and Senate Democrats that could be attached to a budget bill and avoid a Republican filibuster, according to a published report.

The president's proposal, which is still being written, will be posted on the Internet by Monday morning, senior administration officials and Congressional aides told the New York Times.

By piggybacking the legislation onto a budget bill, Democrats would be able to advance the bill with a simple majority of just 51 votes, averting a Republican filibuster in the Senate.

The White House signaled Thursday that an aggressive, all-Democratic strategy for overhauling the nation's health system remains a serious option, even as Obama invites Republicans to next week's televised summit to seek possible compromises.

"It will be a reconciliation bill," the Times quoted a Democratic aide as saying. "If Republicans don't come with any substantial offers, this is what we would do."

The administration's stance could set the stage for a political showdown, with Democrats struggling to enact the president's top domestic priority and Republicans trying to block what many conservatives see as government overreach.

If there was room for compromise, the bill wouldn't be posted three days before the meeting, nor would the threat of reconciliation be attached.

Once more to the GOP leadership and members, do not go to this White House meeting!

Missing In The News Tonight: The Ft. Jackson Five

From CBN, via Michelle Malkin, comes this story of a plot to poison the food at Ft. Jackson, SC.

CBN News has learned exclusively that five Muslim soldiers at Fort Jackson in South Carolina were arrested just before Christmas. It is unclear whether the men are still in custody. The five were part of the Arabic Translation program at the base.

The men are suspected of trying to poison the food supply at Fort Jackson.

A source with intimate knowledge of the investigation, which is ongoing, told CBN News investigators suspect the “Fort Jackson Five” may have been in contact with the group of five Washington, DC area Muslims that traveled to Pakistan to wage jihad against U.S. troops in December. That group was arrested by Pakistani authorities, also just before Christmas.

You wouldn't know this from reading the Lapdog Media, who are probably still trying to spin the "Angry White Guy Teabagger" line about the lone-nut who flew his plane into a building (and left an anti-Capitalist, anti-religion "suicide note/manifesto" on his company website)
in Austin, TX today.

As a personal aside, my father went through Basic Training at Ft. Jackson in 1959/60.

Austin TX Man Crashes Plane Into Office Building, Leaves Behind Anti-Religion, Anti-Capitalist Screed, Lapdog Media Desperate To Tie To Tea Partiers

I've been following all afternoon the story out of Austin, TX, of a man named Andrew Joseph Stark who crashed his small airplane into the Echelon Building in North Austin TX.

The building, which is located at the intersection of MoPac Expressway and Research Blvd. (aka US 183), has as one of its tenants the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) of which Stark apparently targeted. This isn't the only IRS location in Austin, as they also have a building on South I-35, near Ben White Blvd (Hwy 71).
This is Andrew Joseph Stark, who was once a bass player in the Billy Ely Band (photo from their website). Stark was also a software engineer who also lived in California before moving to Austin.

Stark left a suicide note/manifesto on his company's website, which has since been taken down by authorities. Earlier this morning, Stark attempted to burn his North Austin home near Parmer Lane & Metric Blvd. with his wife and daughter inside. They managed to escape. He then drove up I-35 to Georgetown, TX, where he took off in his plane.

Liberals in the Lapdog Media and the liberal blogosphere have been wetting their pants all afternoon, hoping they can pin this act of terror on the Tea Party movement (whom they slur as "teabaggers").

One of the guilty suspects is Jonathan Capeheart, who writes for the lapdog media outlet The Washington ComPost. HotAir.com reports (with screenshot below) that Capeheart wrote:

There's no information yet on whether he was involved in any anti-government groups or whether he was a lone wolf. But after reading his 34-paragraph screed, I am struck by how his alienation is similar to that we're hearing from the extreme elements of the Tea Party movement.

...My Facebook and Twitter buddy Steve Beste made a wry observation about Stack's last stand. "If a white Texas guy flies into a government building it is a contained criminal act," he Tweeted. "Oh. OK. McVeigh was disgruntled." McVeigh was more than disgruntled. He was murderous. And the alienation he felt from his government in 1995 still affects more than we care to admit 15 years later.

If you look at Capeheart's piece, you see he left out key elements of Stark's "manifesto," which was noting but an anti-religion, anti-capitalist tirade, with a line of Bush-bashing included for good measure.

What Capeheart conveniently left out of his ComPost article:

...Some friends introduced me to a group of people who were having ‘tax code’ readings and discussions. In particular, zeroed in on a section relating to the wonderful “exemptions” that make institutions like the vulgar, corrupt Catholic Church so incredibly wealthy. We carefully studied the law (with the help of some of the “best”, high-paid, experienced tax lawyers in the business), and then began to do exactly what the “big boys” were doing (except that we weren’t steeling from our congregation or lying to the government about our massive profits in the name of God). We took a great deal of care to make it all visible, following all of the rules, exactly the way the law said it was to be done.

The intent of this exercise and our efforts was to bring about a much-needed re-evaluation of the laws that allow the monsters of organized religion to make such a mockery of people who earn an honest living. However, this is where I learned that there are two “interpretations” for every law; one for the very rich, and one for the rest of us… Oh, and the monsters are the very ones making and enforcing the laws; the inquisition is still alive and well today in this country.

...Years later, after weathering a divorce and the constant struggle trying to build some momentum with my business, I find myself once again beginning to finally pick up some speed. Then came the .COM bust and the 911 nightmare. Our leaders decided that all aircraft were grounded for what seemed like an eternity; and long after that, ‘special’ facilities like San Francisco were on security alert for months. This made access to my customers prohibitively expensive. Ironically, after what they had done the Government came to the aid of the airlines with billions of our tax dollars … as usual they left me to rot and die while they bailed out their rich, incompetent cronies WITH MY MONEY! After these events, there went my business but not quite yet all of my retirement and savings.

By this time, I’m thinking that it might be good for a change. Bye to California, I’ll
try Austin for a while. So I moved, only to find out that this is a place with a highly inflated sense of self-importance and where damn little real engineering work is done. I’ve never experienced such a hard time finding work. The rates are 1/3 of what I was earning before the crash, because pay rates here are fixed by the three or four large companies in the area who are in collusion to drive down prices and wages… and this happens because the justice department is all on the take and doesn’t give a fuck about serving anyone or anything but themselves and their rich buddies.

...As government agencies go, the FAA is often justifiably referred to as a tombstone
agency, though they are hardly alone. The recent presidential puppet GW Bush and his cronies in their eight years certainly reinforced for all of us that this criticism rings equally true for all of the government. Nothing changes unless there is a body count (unless it is in the interest of the wealthy sows at the government trough). In a government full of hypocrites from top to bottom, life is as cheap as their lies and their self-serving laws.

Stark ended with these lines:

The communist creed: From each according to his ability, to each according to his need.

The capitalist creed: From each according to his gullibility, to each according to his greed.

Although I'm, at this point, not going to start labeling him, that type of language doesn't sound like Tea Party rhetoric.

It's not just the Washington ComPost either. Both TIME Magazine and the drunk driver Rick Sanchez on CNN are both skipping the pro-Communist / anti-Captialist statement at the end of Stark's "manifesto." Looks like they left out his swipe at George W. Bush as well.

Best Wishes & Prayers To Melanie Morgan

Last month, Melanie Morgan (a great friend of this blog and someone who has actively championed our troops), announced she was leaving the America's Morning News nationally syndicated radio show for health reasons and was returning to the Bay Area from Washington DC.

Today, Mel revealed that she has been diagnosed with thyroid cancer, however, the good news is that she said the cancer has not spread.

I had an initial diagnosis (back in D.C.) of thyroid cancer. Some of my Doctors were afraid it was malignant. Others, not so sure.

But on Friday, I got the word that sent a wave of relief higher than the water in Half Moon Bay last week.

I am not going to die. At least, not yet.

So while I will be having some surgery for the six nodules (or tumors) on my neck in the future, I won't be worried about spreading cancer cells throughout my body.

Educating Keith Olbermann On Tea Parties & Race

Ace of Spades points to another rant by the dickless wonder, Keith Olbermann, about the Tea Parties being nothing but a bunch of racist white people (just a small excerpt of his stupidity).

If you believe there is merit to your political argument, fine. But ask yourself when you next go to a Tea Party rally, or watch one on television, or listen to a politician or a commentator praise these things or merely treat them as if it was just a coincidence that they are virtually segregated.

Ask yourself: Where are the black faces? Who am I marching with? What are we afraid of? And if it really is only a president's policy and not his skin. Ask yourself one final question: Why are you surrounded by the largest crowd you'll ever again see in your life that consists of nothing but people who look exactly like you?

Instead Of Firing Him, Obama Plans To Increase Budget Of Controversial "Safe Schools Czar" Who Advocated "Fisting"

Another of the unconstitutional "czars" appointed by Barack Hussein Obama who has come under controversy is not being fired. Instead, Safe Schools Czar Kevin Jennings' budget may be increased by "That One" (Citizenlink, via FreeRepublic).

President Obama and his administration have continued to ignore the loud outcry over the appointment of a radical gay activist, Kevin Jennings, to head up the nation’s “safe schools” office.

Not only have they remained deaf to these concerns, but now they plan to give Jennings significantly more of our money to spend! President Obama’s proposed 2011 budget would allocate $410 million for programs overseen by Jennings. That’s an increase of $45 million.

So want does Jennings intend to do with this money?

For starters, he says he’s going to make “school climate” measurement a top priority—and, in fact, he’d love for “school climate” to eventually be made part of the “Common Core” national standards movement!

What is meant by "school climate?"

Under Jennings’ leadership, GLSEN has provided students with a “school climate” continuum measurement tool. This tool reveals a lot about Jennings’ true goals: A positively rated “inclusive school,” for instance, is defined as one where “LGBT themes are fully integrated into curricula across a variety of subject areas and grade levels.”

I.e., Jennings and GLSEN want homosexual, bisexual and transgender themes taught in every subject at every grade, all the way down to the kindergarten level, maybe even preschool.

By contrast, a “hostile school,” is one where “Curricula are devoid of LGBT themes” and homosexuality is “characterized” as “sin.” Does this mean that a school that acknowledges Christian students’ free speech rights to express their opinions about things like same-sex marriage is rated as “hostile”? Does this mean that if students disagree with lessons taught in class about homosexuality and same-sex marriage that they will be in violation of “school climate” safety policies?

In other words, it is the federal government sanctioning the force feeding of the radical homosexual agenda down the throats of young children.

In case you didn't know, or it might have slipped your mind because the lapdog media has all but ignored it, the Washington Times spells out in an editorial more about the type of agenda Kevin Jennings wants to force upon your kids.

Mr. Jennings is the moral malefactor who gave a speech about how he merely advised a 15-year-old high-school sophomore who was having sex with an older man that, "I hope you knew to use a condom." He knew the boy had met the adult in a bus-station restroom. Mr. Jennings also expressed admiration for Harry Hay, a notorious and extremely prominent supporter of the North American Man Boy Love Association. "One of the people that's always inspired me is Harry Hay," he said.

...In 1990, Mr. Jennings founded the Gay and Lesbian Independent School Teachers Network, which later became the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN). He was the group's first full-time staffer and executive director, a position he held until August 2008. One of GLSEN's tasks was to put together lists of suggested readings for K-through-12 students and their teachers. The reading lists categorize books by the ages for which they purportedly are appropriate. The organization Web site reassures us, "All BookLink items are reviewed by GLSEN staff for quality and appropriateness of content."

Three of these books mentioned by the Times are "Queer 13," "Passages of Pride," and "Growing Up Gay/Growing Up Lesbian." All books deal with minor children having homosexual relations with adults, making pedophilia seem, as the Times says, "seem normal and acceptable."

CNN Poll: 52 Percent Say Obama Doesn't Deserve Re-Election In 2012

52 percent of Americans said President Barack Obama doesn't deserve reelection in 2012, according to a new poll.

44 percent of all Americans said they would vote to reelect the president in two and a half years, less than the slight majority who said they would prefer to elect someone else.

Obama faces a 44-52 deficit among both all Americans and registered voters, according to a CNN/Opinion Research poll released Tuesday. Four percent had no opinion.

The reelection numbers are slightly more sour than Obama's approval ratings, which are basically tied. 49 percent of people told CNN that they approve of the way Obama is handling his job, while 50 percent disapprove.

Remember, this is NOT a Fox News poll. Makes one wonder if CNN will be bashed tomorrow by Baghdad Bob Gibbs at the Press Briefing.

Nice spin job David. You left out a couple of facts, though. Unemployment under the stimulus plan was not supposed to rise higher than eight percent. It dipped last month three tenths of a percent from 10 percent, even though 20,000 jobs were lost last month and the reporting method was rigged.In November, the Obama Administration claimed they had created over 600,000 jobs under the "stimulus" bill. That was proven not to be true, as many "bogus jobs" were tracked. Stimulus money also went to "phantom" Congressional districts as well. The Administration upped their number to two million jobs created in January, but a CBS Poll (via Gateway Pundit) shows only 6 percent of Americans actually believe the stimulus created jobs.

If the stimulus had any success, it was in awakening the American public, many of whom who believed the marketing campaign of "Hopey Changey." The Tea Party movement sprang up and galvanized over the summer and fall of 2009 as a real grassroots uprising, unlike the rent-a-mobs put together by Left wing groups.

So David Plouffe, nice try! You can make up all the fancy graphs and charts, all the new marketing, propaganda, and "rapid response" strategies, but it won't hide the fact that America now sees "That One" for who and what he really is.

Liberals and phony, Trojan-horse conservatives are continuing their attempts in hypnotizing the American people against a Sarah Palin Presidency.

The predictable liberal piece appeared yesterday in the Washington ComPost by Dan NoBalls, accompanied with the ComPost's biased polling against her.

Sarah Palin has proved that she can draw a crowd. What she has yet to demonstrate is that she can translate the appeal of a phenomenon into a political force that can attract or mobilize sizable numbers of voters.

The former Alaska governor is the Republican Party's biggest celebrity. She has given voice to a grass-roots movement grounded in anger with Washington and President Obama's policies. But her political future remains in question. Is she presidential timber? A force only within the Republican Party? A protest candidate like George Wallace (minus the racial divisiveness) or Ross Perot?

"Sarah Palin will have to choose to be either the leader of a movement or the leader of a nation. She can't be both," said Republican strategist Alex Castellanos. "Right now, she is a figure like [George] McGovern or [Barry] Goldwater, two candidates who led the most intense movements in our country's political history, but who couldn't win the middle."

If Palin harbors presidential ambitions, she has a huge mountain to climb. A new Washington Post-ABC News poll found that 71 percent of Americans do not think the
politician who was Sen. John McCain's running mate in 2008 is qualified to be president.

Not qualified to be President? This is coming from the Washington ComPost, who thought Barack Hussein Obama, who never held an executive position and pretty much voted "present" on everything, was more than qualified to be President. Contrast that with Palin, who was a mayor and the Governor of Alaska.

Then, there are the previous attacks from so-called "conservatives" who are really elitists (Peggy Noonan, David Frum), as well as phonies who masquerade themselves as conservatives in the media in an effort to make a quick buck.

Take Michael Weiner Savage, aka "The Savage Weiner" of Marin County, CA. This former herbalist turned talk-show host has now decreed that Palin is "unelectable," saying, "If you want Obama for a second term, just make sure that Sarah Palin is the Republican nominee." (video found at Breitbart TV).

What political expertise does Weiner base this on? Nothing but political schizophrenia. He claims to be a conservative, but he and his family give money to liberal Democrats like Jerry "Moonbeams" Brown and "Greasy" Gavin Newsom. That's what too many skinny dipping escapades with Allen Ginsberg can do to someone. It's not surprising that his longtime radio station ditched him, once an articulate and authentic conservative voice named Mark Levin took the airwaves at the same time slot as "The Savage Weiner."

For all the nay saying about Sarah Palin, she has an appeal that is essential element to a political future. Gateway Pundit reports she was mobbed yesterday at her appearance at the Daytona 500. There is a connection to regular Americans, who are mocked by the liberal and Republican elites.

All these people are the same ones who mocked the candidacy of a former actor turned Governor of California 30 years ago, and declared his 1976 defeat as the Republican nominee the end of his political career. Yet the one thing Balls, Weiner, other political elites and Republican strategist Alex Castellanos are forgetting. That man whose candidacy the elites declared dead in 1976 was not only seen as the leader of the conservative movement in the 1970s, he became the 40th President of the United States.

His name? Ronald Reagan.

Bayh Bye! Is Mikulski (D-Maryland) Next To Retire?

The Party of Cut & Run has another cut & runner in phony centrist Democrat Senator Evan Bayh (Yahoo News).

US President Barack Obama suffered another setback Monday as a fifth Democratic senator, centrist heavyweight Evan Bayh, decided not to run for re-election in dismay at the bitter political climate.

Obama, who reportedly tried to talk Bayh out of retiring, faces a looming Republican resurgence and risks watching strong majorities in Congress crumble in November mid-term elections, and with them his ambitious reform agenda.

With his tearful wife and two sons at his side, Bayh, 54, expressed disenchantment with excessive partisanship in the Congress as he announced his decision at a press conference in the state capital Indianapolis.

"For some time, I have had a growing conviction that Congress is not operating as it should. There is too much partisanship and not enough progress -- too much narrow ideology and not enough practical problem-solving," he said.

"Even at a time of enormous challenge, the peoples' business is not being done."

There was nothing centrist about Bayh. Like most of the so-called "blue dogs," Bayh's so-called centrism was all bark and no bite. When the rubber met the road, Bayh goosestepped behind the big-government, socialist agenda of Barack Hussein Obama and did as the leadership of the Democrat Party said, regardless if it was in the best interests of the American people.

Perhaps retirement is a good time for Bayh to reflect on that.

Candidate For Texas Democrat Gubernatorial Primary Says White People Don't Want To Work In Factories

There's a few nuts in the race for both party primaries in the Texas Governor's Race. There's a nutty "Republican" 9/11 Troofer candidate who no one really heard of until Glenn Beck exposed her for the nut she is.

And, on the Democrat side, there is Farouk Shami (Houston Chronicle) who claims white people are not willing to work manual labor. As a result, most of his factory workers are Hispanic.

Shami, running against former Houston Mayor Bill White, made the comments Friday in an interview with Dallas television station WFAA.

Shami said white people who look for work at his factories “either want to be supervisors or they want to be paid more than the average person and unfortunately, they exit.”

Shami was being asked to follow up on a comment he made at a televised debate between him and White in which he said, in an effort to advocate the benefits of immigrant labor, that “without Mexicans, it would be like a day without sunshine in our state.”

I'm sure there's a key missing word in that last paragraph. It sounds like Shami was really advocating for illegal immigrant labor, using the racist arguments along the line of "they do the jobs Americans won't do."

No wonder whites don't want to work in his factory, because they couldn't make a living. Some business owners want to use illegal workers because it's cheaper. They can pay the cheapest wage they can, and pay them under the table, so they don't worry about paying state/federal taxes, Social(ist) Security, health insurance, etc.

Since Shami has such a racist attitude, I'm certain he would have opposed abolition of slavery if he were running for Texas Governor in the 1850s, on the grounds that "without Negroes, it would be like a day without cotton clothes on your body." Additionally, Shami being a Democrat, the party of slavery, also adds to that certainty.

American Thinker links to a BBC interview with the "expert" behind Climategate, Phil Jones.

Phil Jones, the professor behind the "Climategate" affair, has admitted some of his decades-old weather data was not well enough organised.

He said this contributed to his refusal to share raw data with critics - a decision he says he regretted.

But Professor Jones said he had not cheated over the data, or unfairly influenced the scientific process.

He said he stood by the view that recent climate warming was most likely predominantly man-made.

But he agreed that two periods in recent times had experienced similar warming. And he agreed that the debate had not been settled over whether the Medieval Warm Period was warmer than the current period.

These statements are likely to be welcomed by people sceptical of man-made climate change who have felt insulted to be labelled by government ministers as flat-earthers and deniers.

Jones also agrees that there has been no significant warming since 1995.

Down the drain goes the modern religion for godless liberals. Maybe Charles "Icarus" Johnson can apologize for the negative "karma" he and his cult followers gave to those who aren't drinking the climate change Kool-Aid, in the article I referenced the other day.
